Shirley Collado is a Dominican American photographer, born in Queens, New York and raised in South Florida. Her love for photography began at 12 when her mother gifted her a film camera. Her work explores themes of connection, identity, and the beauty of everyday moments. She uses natural light and rich tones to create images that feel intimate, cinematic, and deeply personal. She believes the best photos happen when people feel comfortable enough to just be themselves. When she’s not behind the camera, she’s exploring the streets of NYC, watching films, or planning where to travel to next.
