Shirley Collado is a Dominican American photographer, born in Queens and raised in South Florida. Her love for photography began at 12 when her mother gifted her a film camera. Her work explores themes of connection, identity, and the beauty of everyday moments. She uses natural light and rich tones to create images that feel intimate, cinematic, and deeply personal. Her goal is to make every subject feel comfortable and seen, allowing their true selves to shine. When she’s not behind the camera, she’s exploring the streets of NYC, watching films, or planning where to travel to next.
